Overview of April 20 - May 19, 2008
Taurus
In the life of the aspirant, there comes a time when a reorientation occurs, the direction changes, and preceding discipleship the sign of Taurus comes into play. Taurus, "produces the changes and opportunities the aspirant needs to become the disciple. Taurus is al the "sign of the major life incentive."
These words are used by the Tibetan to signify the aspect of desire that is present in all levels of Taurus's life and it is desire (later aspiration) that is the initial incentive impelling all of humanity (perhaps all the kingdoms and even within the Life of God Himself) to move forward. As the disciple, this desire becomes aspiration. And as the Initiate aspiration is laid aside and it is will, responsive to the Will of God, that is the controlling factor on the path of return (evolutionary arc).
We thus have a triplicity of words -- desire, aspiration, will -- which express the underlying attributes and fundamental causes of involution (into matter and experiences in form) and evolution (the path of return, back to Spirit). If we observe the psychology of humanity, we can also apply these words -- desire, aspiration, will -- for they describe the activities of the personality level (desire), the soul level (aspiration), and the spiritual (will) levels with all of humanity. These can also be called the, "three-fold expressions that underlie all events, endeavors, progress, and all happenings in time and space." (Esoteric Astrology, page 371)
Five hundred years before Christ's appearance on Earth the Buddha clarified for humanity the nature of desire and its results if the man remained unenlightened. (And so the Buddha began to enlighten -- teach -- humanity about the distortions brought about by the desire nature that affected the mental nature and ability to perceive reality.
The Christ, after the preparations of the Buddha were completed, taught the transmutation of desire into aspiration. This transmutation occurs when the little wills of men attempt to conform to the greater Will of God even if there is no understanding, only conformity, trust and the inner assurance that God is good (all the time).
Since the year 2000 a new force has been pouring into the world. This is the Shamballa (Ray 1) force the purpose of which is to assist humanity is seeking the Will of God. It is a seeking that does not involve blind trust and acceptance but an understanding cooperation with the Divine Plan. Humanity will begin to have an enlightened (conscious) fusion of individual will with Divine Will because humanity is beginning to understand this is what is needed for the greater good of the whole to come forth.
What is occurring everywhere and creating this fusion is the Will-To-Good penetrating the hearts and minds of humanity everywhere. When this Will-To-Good reaches the minds of men it is translated into Goodwill. How we can know that this Will-To-Good is penetrating the human mind is by observing the demands being made by many enlightened people for the upliftment of human conditions that benefit the whole . There is an innate divine urge within the hearts of humanity for beauty, synthesis and free expression. We can also see this Will-To-Good manifesting in the constant attempt of humanity to comprehend and interpret the Plan which is becoming more and more apparent to the developing intelligence of mankind.
All of this indicates the growing responsiveness of humanity to the incoming Shamballa force. Humanity is actually in a state of evocation (answering) to the Will of God coming forth within the Shamballa Force. Thus there has been created a magnetic interplay between the great centre at Shamballa (Ray 1) and the human center (Ray 4) and this is being registered and noted by the ever watching Hierarchy. This magnetic interplay is creating major changes both within the Hierarchy and within humanity and the changes wrought concern the path of Initiation.
The Shamballa force also evokes response from the unprepared and the unready and from the wrongly oriented and selfishly polarized. It stimulated the will-to-power (over others) and fosters for some incorrect personality desires (not Soul aspiration) with their wrong emphasis and teachings.
Nations can therefore be misled by leaders who foster, employ and direct the destructive aspects of the Shamballa force. These individuals and groups, focused only within desire levels, are the religious fanatics and the autocratic leaders whose emphasis is not the development and education of their people but the amassing of resources for personal gain.
As the Age of Aquarius and its New Laws and Principles come into focus for humanity, bringing with it a new level of world synthesis, global interests, and a new world religious, so humanity (the world disciple, Ray 4) is coming under the influence of Taurus (also Ray 4 of New Harmony Created Through Conflict). There is a question within the Hierarchy concerning these new influences streaming to Earth; will these influences, especially the Taurean, produce the floodlight of illumination of which Taurus is the custodian, or will it simply foment desire, increase selfishness and bring humanity to the 'fiery heights of self-interest: instead of to the mountain of vision and Initiation?
The Knowers of the Race, with their different grades of knowledge and illumination, are confronted with this question. Neither the Taurus nor the Aquarius forces be side stepped. Taurus, through Vulcan it's Ray 1 (like Shamballa - Ray 1) Soul ruler "forging the instruments of constructive living or forges the instruments of destruction. Vulcan, through Taurus, either forges the chains that bind or creates the key which unlocks the mysteries of life. Vulcan/Taurus's process with this forging creates the present clamor going on at the present time. Vulcan controls the anvil-like processes of time and strikes the blow which shapes the metal into that which is desired.
Vulcan, through Taurus, is forging the way for the coming Avatar Who will -- at the right moment -- come forth, embodying in Himself the Will of God which is the Divine Will-To-Good, to peace through understanding, and to right relations between men and between nations.
Thus Taurus is of exceeding potency at present and concerning subjective spiritual values of humanity, it is Taurus which is the ruler and the guiding influence of that which is occurring everywhere.
During this month we have the Taurus Full Moon Wesak Festival, the festival where the Buddha receives the blessing from Shamballa (the Father) and passes it onto the Christ for safekeeping (till the Gemini Festival. Thus the Will-To-Good will be summoned from the Father. The NGWS will, with the Christ, hold that blessing in suspension and in tension. The Taurus Full Moon's purpose is the illumination of humanity so we may know the entire secret of divine purpose and planning. This secret is hidden in Taurus, and is related to the most important triangle in our entire cosmic series of triangle relationships -- the triangle of Taurus, Pluto & Earth -- which at present produces most of the world difficulty and constitutes a major cosmic triangle conditioning much of what is now occurring.
If we look at these three -- Taurus, Pluto & Earth -- through their rays and with Taurus, it's Soul ruler of Vulcan, we see the following. Vulcan is Ray 1, Pluto is Ray 1 and Earth is Ray 3. Ray 1 brings about at first destruction of the old so that the new can emerge. Ray 3 is the recipient of the Ray 1 force and focus. So that the new culture and civilization may come about in the Aquarian Age. Through Taurus, Ray 4 and Vulcan and Pluto, Ray 1, we can see that the focus is the removal of obstructions so that the light (illumination) may be revealed.
