We’re in Virgo, sign of caring for and serving humanity. From Burning Man comes a service group, Burners Without Borders (BWB), providing volunteer opportunities after the Burning Man playas are cleaned and emptied, towns and communities dismantled, and everyone re-enters the regularly accepted world. “BWB is a manifestation of what can happen when we take our values off the playa and out into the rest of the world.” They are part of the NGWS. News: Virgo is the sign of the Madonna, gestating new life in the “cave of the heart” to be birthed at winter solstice. Astrologically, what is above is always below. Thus a present day news report; “Chilean miners, caught underground in a collapsed mine, rescue will take months. Not until Christmas will the thirty-three men be able to emerge from within the earth.” Let us pray to the Virgo Madonna, who understands suffering, for safety, for safety, care and protection for the thirty-three (Masonic Final Degree) men in their “cave” experience. When they emerge their awareness of life & love will be transformed.

Virgo New Moon
Wednesday (3:30 am, Pacific time) is Virgo new moon (15.41 degrees). “Let matter reign” is the personality-building meditative seed thought. Matter is “mother”; Virgo blends the Light of form with the light of God (Spirit). It’s a blended dual light, one waning, one waxing. Form hides (gestates) Spirit, which animates it. The Madonna is pregnant with new life, birthed after nine months (count backward from Virgo to Capricorn), winter solstice, Dec. 21, 2010. Join us, the NGWS, by reciting the Great Invocation, the great Mantram of Direction for humanity at the time of the full moon. Our group and many esoteric groups worldwide, will be gathering the evening before for the new moon meditation and to recite the Mantrams. Everyone is welcome to this inner spiritual group. The new and full moon meditations are our service to humanity as we invoke, receive, and disperse the energies of Light, Love, Wisdom, Intelligence & the Will of God to humanity, the Earth and all Kingdoms.

Understanding the Codes
The year has passed quickly, it’s almost Autumn, leaves, orange, golden, brown slowly spiral down as the wind rises. The Sun’s light is slanted, the color a cool yellow. Seasons seem to arrive two-three months ahead of time these in the past years. And so, we’re in Virgo, the sign preceding Autumn equinox and the energies feel potent, as if something’s gestating in dark caves and crevices. And yes, that is exactly what is occurring for the (spiritual energies of the) Mother (Virgo, Mother, mater, matter) is pregnant with new realities to be birthed at winter solstice (Dec. 21, new light as the Sun, at the Tropic of Capricorn, on Christmas Day, begins moving northward).

During Virgo we are to be deeply connected with matter and form. We are preparing for the harvest, putting aside foodstuffs to sustain ourselves through the dark and cold months (northern hemisphere). Virgo is earth, mutable (changeable), deeply feminine (receptive). Virgo tells us that hidden within the Madonna/matter (within all of us) flickers a fiery life (God, Spirit, the Father principle). And that as matter and fire unite (mother/father), a new awareness and consciousness (holy child) come forth.

For many lifetimes, as we develop our personality (vehicle that interacts with form), we are unaware of this. But there comes a lifetime when, our personality fully developed, integrated and strong, we realize matter (personality) and God (fiery spark of life within us) are One. And our Soul comes forth. Soul (Light, Love, Unity, Intelligence) acts as the vehicle for God, the Father or Spirit. This realization/revelation creates a new state of consciousness (awareness of unity) within us.

In all the religions, these principles are taught (encoded) through symbols. The symbol of matter and form is the Mother (mater), the Virgin/Virgo. The symbol of consciousness, evolving through the fusion of spirit & matter, is the holy child (as yet gestating in the womb, matter, of the mother, Virgo). In present day religious language (encoded), this new consciousness is referred to as the Soul or Christ. . We remember the words of Jesus, overshadowed by the Christ,” I and the Father are One.” “One cannot go to the Father without going through Me.” The Christ symbolized the Soul of humanity

Each month the heavens present humanity with a new teaching through the astrological symbols. After we attain the consciousness (awareness) of these principles of Oneness, unity, love, Spirit within matter, “as above, so below”, an urge to help, assist, educate and serve others (Virgo task) begins. Service is an aspect of the Soul. Service responds to a present need. Service emerges from Love, which produces the Grace(fullness) of realizing our rightful place (livelihood) and the fulfillment of our appropriate tasks in the world. For all of these we call upon the Mother, Virgo, the Madonna to help, aid, illuminate and assist us.

In the Cave of the Heart
In Chile, thirty-three (Masonic final degree) miners are trapped underground due to a mine collapse. Their rescue will not be until Christmas. As we are in Virgo now, the sign of the “cave of the heart gestating new life, to be birthed at winter solstice, we place the miner’s health and welfare in her compassionate and understanding care. When the men emerge at Christmas time, at the new light, their consciousness concerning life will be altered. The miners predicament reflects humanity and Virgo’s spiritual task. We pray for them.

“Man’s mind, stretched to a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.”

ARIES (March 21-April 20): The season’s about to change and so must our health regimes, diets, ways we exercise and plan our day. Through this Virgo Mercury retro, it’s good to begin thinking along new lines, preparing for the coming changes in light, color, sun, shadows. These changes are reflected within ourselves, too. Relationships need extra tending so everyone doesn’t feel cold, alone, withdrawn and left out.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21): You will be out and about, learning new things, attending lectures, classes, gathering information. Always your life and its task, illuminating the minds of humanity, are serious and disciplined. It would be good to consider what would be playful for you, bring enjoyment, fun, calling forth your lightness and sense of spontaneity? Perhaps you need to swim.

GEMINI (May 22-June 20): What constitutes family to you, whether biological, friend, group (esoteric?), colleagues, etc. matters more and more. Something’s not complete with someone or maybe you need to visit to bring forth the next developmental stage in relationship(s). Harmony’s your focus with a touch of compromise (not much). Listening to others until you understand the essential message is a parallel goal. All of this brings love forth – your task.

CANCER (June 21-July 20): Make contact. These two words have a depth most don’t understand. Making contact releases Love. But it must be true, real and intentional contact. It must be from the heart, connecting heart to heart, Soul-to-Soul. The results are that Love being released creates liberation for everyone. However, you are the one to begin this process. Do this ceaselessly, quietly, with heartfelt intention with all kingdoms.

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): There’s a sense within that you must not only create a new plan concerning finances and resources, but that a new state of values must also come forth. If there are people close to you may want to communicate more deeply with them, sharing your values, asking what values they hold and what values you hold in common. What are your desires & aspirations for the future, based on these values?

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You will want to come out of the shadows and into a greater light. Standing in shadows, perhaps in the shadow of another (?) is of comfort to you. However, there comes a time when we each must define ourselves, recognize our own self-identity, understand what we initiate, realize that we’re responsible, summon our confidence, and seek a new support system. Am I speaking to Virgo or Pisces? Both. For they are the shadow of the other.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): This morning at Mass I saw a drawing of a sheaf of wheat. A Virgo symbol of nourishment for humanity. I thought of Libra, and what nourishes them. Relationships, beauty, friends, equilibrium, balance, love, sacrifice, art. It’s the art of the wheat sheaf that caught my eye and I thought Librans must get back to their art in whatever form interests them. Some paint, some have galleries, some are collectors. What is your art form? It’s calling you back.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Do you sense restlessness, that there’s a group that belongs to you, that you belong in, yet somehow you can’t find it or they you? As you both search for the other, assess your present-day and future goals. They’ve changed recently or are in the process. So many of us are on the fence, indecisive about the future. We must summon patience. Speak with those close to you. Ask for their visions and goals. Synthesize everyone’s.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): For one intense month the perfect execution of your work will be a priority. It always is but a new dimension has been added. Multiple ideas flow through your mind; you’re being impressed with ideas that may become ideals. There’s an inner enthusiasm. Do you need to begin something? Do you need assistance? Share your ideas with others who can assist. Diplomacy is paramount.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): What will you do when autumn begins? It’s only a month away but it seems something’s calling you, someone, somewhere. Perhaps it’s a course of study, something you want (or need) to learn. Somewhere you want to visit, travel to, discover? There also might be something you need to say somewhere far away. Something professional your ways comes (soon).

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb.18): Take extra care with your money and resources. Use this time to discriminate between what is needed and what is not. Give away what is not and then give more away. Giving provides you with meaning and a true sense of service and a liberation that allows you to move forward in your life. Give yourself three weeks.

PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): We are to do our best in the place(s) we find ourselves. Many of us are indecisive these days, sitting on the fence (uncomfortable), unable to decide where we’re going, what to do when we don’t know what to do, how to provide our gifts when opportunities don’t seem to exist. Again, we (especially Pisces at this time) are to work at our best in the place(s) we find ourselves. Relationships seem to need compromise. You need some real passion and romance. Ok.
