The Middle East Situation, Part
1

Dear Readers, this is the first in
a series of articles concerning the Middle East situation
from an esoteric perspective. The purpose of these
article is to disseminate information concerning the
world situation (from an esoteric perspective) today and
the roles humanity and the New Group of World Servers
(NGWS) must play at this time in our history. The most
important recognition that humanity must come to realize
is that an emergency exists. Understanding of this
emergency and its resultant crisis creates sensitivity
within us. We must also have knowledge, which then
creates vision. When vision comes there is insight
concerning what each of us is able to do and what part we
can play as the world conflict continues. This article is
Part 1. In the coming weeks we will post further articles
concerning the Middle East and our continuing world
crisis. It must be stated at the outset that a New World
Government is attempting to be created. This government,
if under Hierarchical rule, will be a government based on
spiritual, unitive, love principles. If this government
to be created falls under the rule of the forces of
darkness, it will be completely material (separative)
based. The battle being waged at this time is between the
Forces of Light (Spirit) and the forces of darkness
(materiality) and which will rule the world. Each of us
must choose the side upon which we stand. Knowledge
assists us in this choice.
The Crisis
The continuing news from the Middle East (solar
plexus of the Earth) is not good. The situation is
accelerating and it is important that we, as esoterically
concerned readers, be aware of the circumstances and
concentrate on being of assistance and service. First we
must be informed. Secondly we must have the aspiration
and intention to assist. And third we must join together
as a group (all readers) on inner planes in order to call
down the forces and energies that oversee and respond to
our (humanity's) call for help.
The insurgency in Fallujah is
masking a deeper problem not noted in our news media.
There is no longer any question about whether we should
be at war. We are at war with the possibility of WW III
beginning. The two factions at war are the Forces of
Light and the forces of darkness. The forces of darkness
are gathering in every country and land. Their primary
target is the United States. Whether we had gone to war
of not, whether President Bush declared war on Saddam
Hussein or not, whether the target is oil or power makes
no difference. The war situation of Light vs. dark would
be playing out in another scenario. What we must first
understand is that the forces of darkness are focused on
death. Their culture is a culture of death. It is not the
Koran or the religious texts that are at fault. It is a
wide, deep, dark contingency of Ray 6 fanatics who have
appropriated the suryas (words in the Koran) according to
their own agendas. This agenda is death.
Understanding the Forces of
Light and Dark
Allow me to explain the forces of darkness. Everything
either evolves (goes up towards Spirit) or devolves (goes
deeper into matter). Some beings evolve into greater
light. Other beings devolve into greater darkness. Those
who evolve into the light honor life, love, intelligence
and freedom. Those who devolve into greater darkness have
only one possible focus and that is death. The difference
between the Forces of Light and the forces of darkness is
this, and we must understand it deeply. The Forces of
Light have great intelligence and they have Love (which
creates unity), The forces of darkness have great
intelligence but they do not have Love. Without Love,
there is always separation and separative thinking.
Matter, unredeemed (without light and love), can only
continue in a downward spiral, deeper and deeper into
matter until it disappears altogether. Matter, when
redeemed (provided light which proffers intelligence and
love), swings upward toward greater light. This light of
evolution is the reflection of the Light of Life itself
(Aries keywords).
United States Transits Within
the Gemini Rising Chart and the Vision Needed
The transits (ever changing and present planets in the
sky at the same degree as planets in the birth chart) to
the United States Gemini rising chart indicate a
continuing state of challenges, crisis, conflict,
battles, confrontations, and difficulties for the United
States and its people. I do not think the government has
the entire picture from an esoteric and spiritual point
of view. Though President Bush certainly uses the correct
words, he needs to provide us with a vision. Because he
cannot at this time do this, we must provide it for
ourselves. The vision is not peace. It's Right Human
Relations. It's the defeating of evil (dark forces)
inherent within our world (which have been with us since
the beginnings of time). It's the ability to go inward,
to form ourselves (as humanity) into a state of
discipleship that, in the sign of Scorpio which is
discipleship, be prepared for battle. The battle for us
(the NGWS) is on inner levels. For others the battle in
on outer levels (armed services). Our invocations (asking
for assistance) are our tools.
System of Cycles and the "Great
Invocation"
The battle raging in the Middle East is not the due to
any one specific choice, situation, government,
president, or activity. It is cyclic that humanity must
respond to evil. In the ""Great Invocation"'s" fourth
stanza, " From the center which we call the race of men
(humanity/minds), Let the Plan of Love and Light work
out. And may it seal the door where evil dwells. Let the
Plan of Love and Light work out, And may it seal the door
where evil dwells. Let Light, Love, and Power restore the
Plan on Earth." These last final lines of the, "Great
Invocation" informs us of our great task as humanity
(world disciple)…"to seal the door where evil
dwells." The "Great Invocation" was given in segments
during and after World War II (a continuation of WW I).
It is of ancient origins. Its purpose was to dispel evil,
to call upon the Prince of Peace, the Rider on the White
Horse, to enter into the Earth and assist in humanity's
task (of dispelling evil). We are once again at that
cyclic point in our Earth history wherein we must stand
with poised focus, with the banner of Light held high
and, with one invocative voice, call forth those forces
that will assist us in, "sealing the door where evil
dwells." Should we not choose this group task with
intelligence, courage, and love, the alternative is
unspeakable.
Following is a quote from the
Tibetan (Djwhal Khul) as written in Alice Bailey's book,
The Externalization of the Hierarchy (p. 659).
Bailey was the scribe to the Tibetan who was the author
of most of the Bailey books. The "Great Invocation"
mentioned here refers to the last part of the World
Prayer given at the end of WW II. Further information on
the "Great Invocation" can be found in the Bailey books,

where a compilation of the Bailey (Tibetan's) material
can be found.
"I would again call your
attention to the fact that the evocative (responsive)
power of the "Great Invocation" (now used by so many
hundreds of thousands) and the sound of its mantric
rhythm is increasingly responsible for this work; a
great deal of the resultant effectiveness is due to
the fact that humanity is using this mantram in
steadily increasing numbers, and this, combined with
its scientific use by the Hierarchy, is very fruitful
in results. It is well here to bear in mind that (to
quote an old by one of the Masters) "where the focus
is, so will be the anchorage where descending
potencies under mantric inspiration are
concerned."
This means that, due to the effort
of countless thousands of men and women everywhere,
energies hitherto unable to penetrate deeper into
substance than the Hierarchical substance and the levels
of the higher mental plane can now, for the first time,
be successfully anchored on dense physical levels or at
least upon etheric levels. This is a fact and is far more
important than you are perhaps able to
appreciate.
The Meaning of Hierarchy
Perhaps it is good to outline what is meant by "the
Hierarchy." These are men and women, quite like
ourselves, who have completed the (classroom) lessons of
Earth. Another name for them is Masters, not a gendered
word, but signifying one who has "mastered" the tasks and
gradations of the Earth planes. When these lessons are
completed the "master" is then given seven choices
concerning future endeavors. One choice is to oversee and
tend to the Earth and all her kingdoms. That is the
Hierarchy. The Hierarchy consists of seven Ashrams. The
head of these Ashrams is the Christ, which is a name
given to a job description. It is not always the same
Being who is the Christ. The word "Christ" means
"Anointed One." The task of a Christ is to anchor Love
and Will from God (His Father, Sanat Kumara, living in
Shamballa) to Earth. The Hierarchy is also under the
direction of Shamballa, whose head is Sanat Kumara, a
Regent from Venus who came to Earth eighteen million
years ago to oversee our development. Sanat Kumara is
mentioned in the Christian Bible under the name Ancient
of Days. Every twenty-five years the Hierarchy gathers
for a conference. The main focus of attention and
consideration is Earth, which, and this must be
understood by everyone, is an experiment of grand
designs. It is still not determined whether this
experiment is a failure or a success. This depends upon
the ability of humanity to bring about redemption (light
into matter), assume and activate its divine intelligence
(we have the potential within our original atoms), and
summon and radiate divine love which then brings about
unity and synthesis.
Creation of the New Group of
World Servers
During the last World War the Hierarchy was concerned for
our life here on Earth. Many of the Hierarchy felt that
the experiment had failed and there was talk of
destroying Earth. But some within the Hierarchy felt
otherwise. After long contemplation on the question,
"What is to be done with humanity?" it was agreed that
Hierarchy was to love humanity with more depth, power,
and focus. And the experiment called Earth and humanity
continued. It was also agreed upon that the Hierarchy
would create what is now called the New Group of World
Servers, consisting of those within humanity who have the
aspiration to serve Life even with all of its
vicissitudes (common within experiments). Today, among
massed humanity there are many who qualify as part of the
New Group of World Servers. It is an inner group of
aspirants, disciples, and initiates who mediate between
Hierarchy and massed humanity and whose purpose is to
bring to the thinkers of the world, the facts and truth
of the Ageless Wisdom and the fact and truth of the
Hierarchy's existence. Those of us reading these words,
should there be a responding chord of aspiration toward
serving humanity and mediating between Hierarchy and
humanity, they too belong to this inner spiritual
group.
Facing our Task & Doing Our
Part
Presently, and in our world today, we are faced once
again with a determined choice in terms of facing our
tasks. As mentioned previously, we are to take up the
Herculean task of true discipleship. Hercules represents
the sign of Scorpio, which is the sign of the disciple in
battle. The battle on the personality level is whether or
not to assume the mantle and responsibilities of
discipleship. Mars, one of Scorpio's personality rulers,
presents us with desire for comfort, for bloodshed, for
battle but only in terms of our own personal needs. The
second personality ruler of Scorpio is Pluto, the sign of
transformation and death (of the personality). On the
Soul level, also ruled by Mars, there is no choice. One
aspires to go into battle but it is for spiritual
reasons, so that humanity can be freed of oppression,
ignorance, and retrogressive forces (forces of darkness).
This latter is now the task of humanity. But the battle
for many of us will not be on the battlefields. It is now
on inner levels. The greatest force that we can call
forth is the invocative force that lies within the "Great
Invocation". What we call forth we receive. The lines in
the "Great Invocation" call for the Light, Love, and Will
of God to intercede on our (humanity's) behalf. May we
have the courage and strength of the disciple to "do our
part."
Mantram
Following is a mantram that is very effective. Many New
Group of World Servers recite this mantram three times
after reciting the "Great Invocation". Said in one voice,
the voice of humanity, the results are swift. May we all
do our parts during this crisis on Earth.
"And so let it be. And
help me do my part."
The Great
Invocation*
From the point of Light
within the Mind of God
Let Light stream forth into the minds of men,
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within
the Heart of God
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men
May Christ return to Earth.
From the center where the Will
of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men
The purpose which the Masters know and
serve.
From the center which we call
the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power
restore the Plan on Earth.
